Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to define and develop Enterprise Data Structure along with Data Warehouse, Master Data, Integration and transaction processing with maintaining and strengthening the modelling standards and business information.

1. Define and Develop Data Architecture that aids organization and clients in new/ existing deals
   1. Partnering with business leadership to provide strategic, information-based recommendations to maximize the value of data and information assets.
   2. Assess the benefits and risks of data using tools such as business capability models.
   3. Create data strategy and road maps for the Reference Data Architecture.
   4. Engage all stakeholders to implement data governance models.
   5. Ensure that the data storage and database technologies are supported by the data management and infrastructure of the enterprise.
   6. Develop, communicate, support and monitor compliance with Data Modelling standards.
   7. Oversee and monitor all frameworks to manage data across the organization.
   8. Provide insights for database storage and platform for ease of use.
   9. Collaborate with vendors to ensure integrity and system configuration.
   10. Collaborate with functional & technical teams and clients to maximize the value of information.
   11. Present data repository, objects, source systems along with data scenarios.
   12. Define high-level data migration plans.
   13. Knowledge of all the Data service provider platforms.
   14. Oversight of all the data standards for proper governance.
   15. Promote the proper use of metadata.
2. Building enterprise technology environment for data architecture management
   1. Develop, maintain and implement standard patterns for data layers and management processes.
   2. Evaluate all implemented systems to determine their viability.
   3. Collect and integrate all structural and non-structural data.
   4. Work through every stage of data processing.
   5. Build enterprise conceptual and logical data models.
   6. Implement best security practices across all databases.
   7. Strong understanding of Master Data Management, Metadata Management and Data Governance.
   8. Demonstrate strong experience in database architectures and programming techniques.
3. Enable Delivery Teams by providing optimal delivery solutions/ frameworks
   1. Build and maintain relationships with delivery and practice leadership teams.
   2. Define database physical structure and security specifications.
   3. Develop metrics to drive results.
   4. Monitor system capabilities and performance.
   5. Integrate new solutions and troubleshoot errors.
   6. Manage multiple projects and report status accurately.
   7. Identify risks and prepare a risk mitigation plan.
   8. Ensure quality assurance of all architecture decisions.
   9. Recommend tools for improved productivity.
   10. Help the support team for better efficiency.
   11. Develop trust and build effective working relationships.
   12. Ensure architecture principles are consistently applied.
   13. Support pre-sales team and ensure all requirements are met.
   14. Demonstrate thought leadership with strong technical capability.
