Unite Construction are currently working with a highly prominent and well respected developer builder who have a proven track record of delivering in the luxury apartment and mixed-use sector and have an extensive pipeline across South East Queensland.We are assisting them in recruiting a Senior Safety Advisor for one of their largest projects to date which is a circa $150M mixed-use development in inner-city Brisbane south of the river.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the effective implementation of WHS processes.
- Oversee and coordinate safety-related activities.
- Offer guidance and support to on-site teams.
- Maintain up-to-date safety documentation.
- Conduct pre-start briefings, inductions, and site inspections.
- Identify and assess risks, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Perform health and safety audits and workplace inspections.
- Train staff on health and safety procedures.
- Hold a minimum of a Cert IV in WHS.
- Possess over 5 years of experience in HSE ideally with high-rise experience.
- Experience working with a head contractor is required.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Strong knowledge of current legislation, regulations, and building codes.
- Demonstrate clear communication skills, professionalism, and a polished appearance.
Circa $180K - $200K package
