What your day-to-day could look like:

We are now on the look-out for committed Electrical Engineering Graduates to start their career journey in our Fulton Hogan Utilities business.

At Fulton Hogan, it is less about designing the concept and more about how to we bring that concept to life. Our Engineers work on site solving real problems every day. It is the Engineer’s job to work as part of a team and plan the construction works, taking into consideration commercial, financial, environmental, safety and quality aspects of the task. They develop ideas, methodologies andbring everything together to ensure our works are delivered successfully. And this is what you will have an opportunity to do as well by learning from our skilled and experienced team members.

Let’s Connect:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering;
  • Leadership, organisational and communication skills with the ability to develop, manage and maintain relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders;
  • A high degree of enthusiasm and drive, with a strong desire to deliver positive outcomes as part of a team;
  • A practical mindset, with a hands-on approach to getting things done;
  • Flexibility to undertake regular travel to our project sites across in addition to occasional weekend work or night shift.

What’s on offer?

The Fulton Hogan Graduate Development Program (GDP) is a 12 month program, designed to assist you in obtaining teachings and exposure to various facets of our business.

Its purpose is to assist you to build a foundation for a successful career through the creation of networks, the habit of continuous learning and exposure to the skills and knowledge required. It includes:

  • Development Framework tailored to your area of specialism
  • Graduate Handbook to help you along your journey (Good work perks, Innovation project, Personal development sessions, Expectations, Mentoring, Wellbeing & Partnerships)
  • Professional Mentoring as you transition off the program and into your career
  • A buddy who is a current or a recent Graduate, there to help you with those day to day questions
  • The opportunity to work with your peers and present to our senior leaders
  • Personal development sessions aimed at developing you professionally in the business
  • A regional induction/welcome and a grad camp enabling you to network with other graduates and senior leaders in the business
