This position reports to the Manager, Office of the Deputy Director-General and has no direct reports.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
The Principal Executive Officer key responsibilities are:
- Manage the preparation of all briefing material for consideration by the Deputy Director-General, Strategy as well as the flow of information between the
- Provide a coordination, advisory and quality control service on the preparation of meeting and agenda papers, to ensure compliance with legislative obligations, relevant departmental and government-wide guidelines and procedures
- Coordinate the provision of high level consistent and accurate strategic advice across the stream, including liaison with other business streams of the department
- Research, analyse and prepare reports on complex and diverse issues and initiatives for consideration by the Deputy Director-General and senior executive team
- Provide support to the Deputy Director-General in the conduct of strategic projects and with client and stakeholder engagement, including through event
