About the Role:In this diverse and engaging role, you will be responsible for advising clients on competition, consumer law, and regulatory issues. You will handle a mix of advisory and contentious matters, including cartel investigations and merger clearances. You’ll be trusted to provide strategic, commercial advice to boards and senior management on competition law risks. This is an opportunity to take ownership of significant matters while working closely with experienced Partners who will provide mentorship and support for your career development.
Key Responsibilities:Advise clients on competition, consumer law, and regulatory issues, including cartel investigations and merger clearances.Provide clear, strategic, and commercial legal guidance to clients, particularly in high-stakes matters.Take ownership of advisory and contentious work, managing matters from inception to resolution.Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor, while mentoring junior lawyers and supporting their development.
The Ideal Candidate:We are looking for a driven, experienced lawyer with the following qualifications and skills:3+ years PQE in competition, consumer, or regulatory law.Proven experience managing complex legal matters, with a focus on cartel investigations and merger clearances.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while providing high-quality, strategic legal advice.
