Randstad has been engaged to support the recruitment for our client, a well-established distributor of high-end, European-manufactured air compressors. Located in the South East of Melbourne, they supply premium compressor solutions across Australia and the APAC region, serving industries such as mining, veterinary, food & beverage, medical, research, government, and defense. Their highly organised and tight knit-site fosters a strong company culture and commitment to excellence.

As a Technical Product Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical expertise, managing after-sales support, and building strong relationships with existing clients. This role requires a blend of mechanical engineering knowledge, commercial acumen, and exceptional client management skills to drive business growth and ensure seamless project execution. Key responsibilities:

Provide technical and project-related support to clients across multiple industries. Manage after-sales inquiries and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including research institutions, universities, and government sectors.

Coordinate with internal teams and distribution partners to ensure smooth operations and project execution. Identify business opportunities and contribute to the company's growth strategy. You qualifications:

A mechanical engineering background, with experience in air compressor products. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage client relationships. A commercial mindset with a proactive approach to business development.

Technical expertise to handle customer inquiries and coordinate projects. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. What's on Offer?
