Description:

About The Role

In this role you will assist to manage, plan, organise, coordinate, deliver, monitor and report all pavement delivery activities that result in delivery of the outcomes and achieve time, cost and quality objectives on assigned projects. You will report into the Network Delivery Manager.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Achieving the delivery of pavement projects through to completion and submission of all deliverables on time, to budget and to quality standard as agreed with project manager.
  • Preparing, updating and implementing the Portfolio list of project works.
  • Delivering work within budget.
  • In consultation with your Manager, managing all contractors and staff who deliver projects.
  • Preparing the list of deliverables / tasks from each project and transferring to the baseline design Schedule.
  • Development of the delivery phase and interface activities.
  • Interfacing with internal and external design team for the design requirements.
  • Liaising with the client, site and vendors on aspects of the delivery phase and documentation work and organise meetings with them as required.
  • Diagnosing design related issues and resolving through documentation or escalation to senior management.
  • Supporting active continuous improvement of processes, procedures, risk and systems.
  • Monitoring & addressing design changes and non-conformances.
  • Project management activities for maintenance / construction of road infrastructure, structural, corridor, tunnel and ITS projects

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years’ experience within the Infrastructure Construction industry or similar industry experience.
  • Previous industry experience within utilities, transport, water and/or gas / power.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and regulations and safety laws.
  • Ability to lead and manage delivery teams.
  • Ability to deal diligently, patiently, and professionally with internal stakeholders, clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to determine own priorities and manage work accordingly.
  • Analytical with ability to identify and suggest areas for process improvement and drive efficiency.
  • Specialist experience in provision of engineering services discipline.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word, MS Projects, Excel PowerPoint & Outlook.
  • Knowledge of accounting software and basic financial management experience
