We are seeking a driven and dynamic Commercial Trade Account Manager to join our successful sales team at Clennett’s Mitre 10. You can be based out of either our Glenorchy site or our Head Office site in Kingston. The role will focus on our larger commercial builders and construction partners.

What you'll be doing :
- Meet sales and profitability budgets as set by the manager.
- Maintain positive customer relationships, which includes evaluating existing relationships and spending time establishing new relationships.
- Ensure customers understand lead times and delivery standards and liaise with trade staff to adequately resource commitments; accordingly, follow up where necessary.
- Ensure pricing is market competitive and accurately invoiced to customers and ensure the business is working from the most competitive cost pricing, specifically on large projects.
- Ensure quotes are returned in a timely manner.
- Identify market and range opportunities in the appropriate forum and communicate new business opportunities.
- Work with department supervisors and administrative staff to source and purchase products, process special orders and procure quotations; provide positive input to assist with any challenges.
What we're looking for :
- 5 + years in the sales or building industry
- Proven track record of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
- Strong understanding of construction materials and product applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
