About the business
North West Eye Surgeons have been providing eye health to North West coast Tasmanians for more than 27 years. From our premises in Burnie and the Devonport Eye Hospital we provide a full suite of Ophthalmic services including clinical consultations, diagnostic testing, and surgery. Our recent business growth means we need to find and train a new team member!

About the role
- Ophthalmic Technicians provide essential support to our Specialist doctors
- Technicians are responsible for undertaking a range of Ophthalmic diagnostic testing
- Technicians work closely with the doctors and patients, using state-of-the-art technology every day
- We train Technicians on the job
- The job will require you to work in Burnie and Devonport
About you
- You will have a strong work ethic
- You are intelligent and are a fast learner
- You pride yourself on accuracy and aim for perfection
- Hopefully you will have customer service experience
- You have your own transport and are able and willing to work between both our locations in Devonport and Burnie.
- You must have two references
- You must have, or have applied for, a Working with Vulnerable People card.
