As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Physiotherapy services, including both individual and group therapy programs. You will work in a person-centred approach, ensuring each client receives a tailored treatment plan aimed at promoting their independence and overall well-being.
You will also play a key role in supervising and mentoring Allied Health Assistants, contributing to team development, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for those in care.
Key Responsibilities:- Clinical Care : Conduct assessments and provide physiotherapy interventions, developing individual and group programs to promote independence and improve client well-being.
- Team Collaboration : Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to create a coordinated approach to care.
- Supervision : Mentor and supervise Allied Health Assistants to ensure best practice is maintained.
- Professional Development : Participate in ongoing training and supervision to ensure clinical knowledge remains current and practice is evidence-based.
- Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current First Aid Certificate with CPR
- Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing a caseload
- Experience in the Aged Care or Health Sectors is an advantage
- National Police Record Check and Working With Children Check
- Driver's License
- Ability to travel within the required region
- Possesses well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Is highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Demonstrates a passion for delivering high-quality care to individuals
- Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team
