As the Coordinator of Recreational Services, you'll lead a high-performing team to plan, develop, and manage the City's sport and recreation facility lessees. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders to optimize facility allocation and management, driving sustainable community outcomes through evidence-based decision making, and developing partnerships and capacity-building initiatives for grassroots sport, all aligning with the City's Sport and Physical Activity Strategy 2022-2032.

About you
We are looking for a proactive leader with strong communication skills, who thrives on innovation and collaboration. You have a strategic mindset and a passion for community sport and recreation.
You will also bring:
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams.
- Strong relationships with state sporting organisations and local sports clubs.
- Experience in developing and managing partnerships and capacity-building initiatives for grass roots sport.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- A sound understanding of sports facility management and community leasing.
- An ability to drive outcomes based on evidence-based decision making.
- A passion for driving excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
