About us:
HOPE has been a community service in Western Australia for over a century, providing much needed support to people affected by alcohol and other drugs, mental ill-health, youth justice issues and socioeconomic disadvantage. HOPE is the lead agency for headspace Kalgoorlie.
We are looking for people who are creative, motivated, and focused on ensuring positive experiences and outcomes for our young people at a pivotal time in their lives.
About the Role:
Our headspace GPs work with young people aged 12-25, around mental health, sexual health, drugs and alcohol, preventative healthcare and other physical health problems. Having a GP on site allows providing bulk billing services to young people allows for access a wider range of health options, all under one roof. We have a collaborative and holistic model of care at headspace. GPs are supported by a team of experienced youth healthcare experts.
You will have strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to build and nurture relationships at a personal level, organisational and community level. You will be working closely with our headspace Clinical team. You will develop referral pathways across the youth sector with stakeholders such as external health providers and other community services organisation.
Requirements of the Role:
You will have a passion for working with, and inspiring resilience in young people. A Tertiary qualification including relevant professional registration with APHRA is required. As well as a commitment
