We are seeking 1x fulltime and 1x part-time (for lunch coverage).
Suitable fulltime applicants may be those seeking to extend their experience in a rewarding, engaging and supportive environment.
Suitable Part-time applicants may be those seeking school-hours based employment, or those seeking work/study balance or work/life balance, as the role will be for lunch coverage of fulltime educators, approximating 2 hours per day over 5 days.

ABOUT THE POSITION – Educator (diploma qualified) core duties and responsibilities
The Educator (Dip) will be responsible for cultivating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children by:
- Creating and implementing engaging educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Fostering a safe, positive and inclusive environment for children.
- Collaborate with families to support each child’s development.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulation and standards.
ABOUT YOU - Position Requirements
To ensure the delivery of a high-quality early learning service in a child-focused education and care environment, this position requires; passion for the development of young minds; experience in curriculum creation and deployment, compliance awareness and execution, with a deeply held commitment to the improvement of yourself, colleagues and those within your care.
Following criteria is Essential for the role;
- A strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and relevant child protection legislation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, parents, and other educators to foster a collaborative relationship in addressing any concerns and maintaining regular communication channels.
- A passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality childcare, a positive, proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution, high levels of creativity, energy, and patience.
- Knowledge in Health and Safety compliance and protocols to effectively promote and maintain a culture of childcare safety and wellbeing,
- ACECQA approved training and qualifications in: first aid in an education and care setting; cardiopulmonary resuscitation training; child protection training; and safe sleep training.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth
And the following are prerequisites for the role
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
- Current Working with Children check (WWCC).
- National Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) – no more than 6 months old at time of starting, or capacity/consent to attain.
