A new opportunity has arisen within our ICT department for an experienced ICT Core Systems Specialist . This critical role will support the City of Ballarat's Core Systems and contribute to the smooth delivery of key ICT projects and services. As an ICT Core Systems Specialist, you will work closely with the Senior ICT Core Systems Specialist to support the strategic direction and ensure operational excellence across all core systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in the development and delivery of the City of Ballarat's Core Systems strategy, ensuring alignment with emerging technologies and common software platforms.
- Provide expert Level 2 and 3 support for council's core and enterprise systems such as CRM, HRIS, Asset Management, etc. including troubleshooting, system administration and user training.
- Offer a high level of customer service, ensuring all user queries are addressed efficiently and effectively.
- Contribute to the delivery and prioritization of infrastructure services, maintaining asset management and ERP systems with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proactively identify and resolve system issues, minimising disruptions and ensuring optimal performance.
- Foster cross-department collaboration to ensure the smooth integration of core systems, driving overall service improvement.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in data protection and security, ensuring City of Ballarat remains secure and a forward-thinking workplace.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience with ERP, HRIS and Asset Management systems.
- Strong technical support background, with the ability to diagnose issues and propose solutions swiftly.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with stakeholders at all levels.
