Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and reliable Forklift Operator to join their team at the Lytton Warehouse for a casual on going position.
As the Forklift Operator you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks.
You will be reporting to the Branch Manager & would see you carry out the following duties:
- Receive and process Timber Packs (container unloads, putting stock away)
- Prepare & treat timber packs working with inbuilt treatment plant
- General administration duties to be included i,e RF Scanning, printing & manifesting delivery notes, WMS inventory control & Stocktaking.
- Manual handling of timber and materials at times
- Ensuring the yard is a safe working environment and optimise space utilization
- Maintain housekeeping standards at high level throughout the warehouse and yard.
Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a hands-on individual who enjoys a variety of tasks and ideally has previous experience in the timber industry and warehousing/storage yard. Attention to detail and a knack for matching numbers are essential.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Forklift license
Hours:
- Casual rate: $33 per hour
- Monday to Friday (6am-2pm)
