Description:
- Develop, implement, and manage the indirect procurement strategy.
- Conduct supplier negotiations and manage vendor relationships.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement efficiency's.
- Monitor market trends and conduct procurement risk assessments.
- Prepare procurement and contract documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and develop improvement plans.
- Drive sustainability initiatives within the procurement process.
Requirements:
A successful Indirect Procurement Specialist should have:
- A degree in supply chain management, business, finance or related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry.
- A will to learn negotiation and vendor management skills.
- An understanding of procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
- Understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
