- VPS Grade 6: $134,593 - $180,115 per annum plus superannuation.
The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking an experienced Program Governance, Risk and Reporting Manager to provide a critical role within Technology Solutions and Data Security.

Technology Solutions and Data Security focuses on meeting the department's data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting departmental outcomes.
Technology Solutions and Data Security explores and employs technology to enable the department's business function via the use of modern, appropriate platforms, products and services. It supports enterprise-wide platforms and services including critical applications, networks, telecommunication, call centres, hosting, intranet/internet sites; delivers business and corporate funded project; and overseas the delivering of services provided by technology service providers such as Cenitex.
About the Role
A senior member of the program control office providing support to the Program Director and leadership team providing a deep knowledge and understanding of the program performance and risks. Creating and maintaining accurate, concise and timely reporting to the various governance forums in particularly the Steering Committee.
The role is primarily accountable for maintaining the governance cadence of the program, maintaining the risk register, and interpretation when developing reports, and providing performance reporting (including earned value).
The successful candidate will have proven experience working in a complex program delivery environment within a scaled agile delivery construct.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a senior role within a PMO or project / program delivery environment (IT projects preferred) for large scale, transformation programs.
- Demonstrated experience in project / program reporting and analysis, and strong understanding of project controls / metrics.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing, designing and implementing governance / risk frameworks and operating models for large scale, transformation programs.
- Demonstrated experience in extracting results from Live Agile metrics such as burndowns, velocity etc. for executive level reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in the development of data models and interactive business intelligence dashboard reports (i.e., using Microsoft Power BI).
- Highly skilled in collaboration, project management tools and project site maintenance and administration - Smartsheet, Teams, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint.
- Strong understanding and experience in the application of agile delivery principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, SAFe,, Continuous Delivery, Rapid Application Development).
- Appropriate vocation qualifications and certifications, e.g., Project Management, risk management, would be highly desirable.
