About the role
Join an established and reputable team in the automotive industry as a Parts Interpreter Representative. You’ll split your time between assisting customers and technicians at the counter and building client relationships through business development and on-the-road representation. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the confidence to promote products while delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Assist customers by sourcing and supplying required truck parts
- Process sales orders, including picking, invoicing, and receipting
- Maintain accurate computer records and update product information
- Provide pricing and availability details for products and services
- Promote and upsell products while building long-term relationships
- Support the parts team and contribute to overall team success
- Truck parts experience is essential (minimum 5 years preferred)
- Proven experience in parts interpreting in truck or car industries
- Strong customer focus and confident sales ability
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a busy environment
- Current manual driver’s license (forklift license preferred)
- Salary: $56,000 - $70,000 + Super (DOE)
- Weekly pay and secure, full-time position
- Great working environment with supportive leadership
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (or 9:00 am – 6:00 pm), with 1-hour lunch
- Overtime: Available
- Saturday Roster: Required on rotation
