We are seeking a Hardware Product Manager to oversee the development, sourcing, integration and deployment of our suite of wearable hardware devices.
In this role, the Hardware Product Manager will work closely with the senior executive group, software product development team and third-party vendors to coordinate and execute the company’s hardware strategy.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the senior executive group on the hardware product strategy and technical product requirements.Evaluate, manage and source third-party hardware solutions and vendors.Work with the software product team on integrating the company’s proprietary software with hardware devices.Manage the testing and deployment of new product features to hardware, including defect tracking and resolution, during development and UAT with software product development and third-party vendors.Take responsibility for hardware product flows across on-time delivery, activation and customer dispatch.Manage hardware product documentation and regulatory compliance, both locally and globally.Supervise a small in-house team for testing and quality control.
Job requirements
3-5 years proven experience as a hardware product manager, preferably in the wearable or IOT areas.Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary with entrepreneurial drive, while still demonstrating the ability to have fun and engage with team members.Excellent project management and organisational skills.Ability to prioritise workloads with the senior executive group and effectively communicate status and risks, to deliver high quality hardware products.Passion for working in a high growth, energetic and entrepreneurial environment.
