Beyond Housing is seeking a Housing Property Manager to deliver client-focused, high-quality, and responsive housing and tenancy management services incorporating Long Term Community Housing (LTCH) and Transitional Housing Management (THM) programs. This includes rent management, property inspections, allocations, property maintenance, and regular reporting, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations as well as organisational policies.

This position is being offered as a Full Time, based in our Wangaratta office.

The Role

The Housing Property Manager will work to:

  • Provide rental agreements management, including rental agreement sign ups
  • Manage arrears & organise repayment agreements with renters
  • Conduct property & vacancy maintenance inspections
  • Conduct annual household income and rent reviews
  • Initiate and attend VCAT hearings
  • Abide by the Residential Tenancies Act & Rooming House Acts

Pay & Conditions

In return for your dedication, experience and professionalism, Beyond Housing offer:

  • Attractive Total Salary Package of $85,126 - $91,587 (based on Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Level 4)
  • With the ability to maximise your take home pay with Salary Packaging - up to $15,900 for living expenses and additional $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses each year tax free

About You

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • A commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Ability to work as part of as busy team
  • Compassion and an understanding of the principles of social justice
  • Excellent administrative skills including MS Office
  • Well developed communication, negotiation and time management skills
  • A current driver’s licence
  • Ability to understand, interpret and apply relevant legislation including the Victorian Residential Tenancies Act (RTA), the Privacy Act, the Anti-Discrimination Act and Equal Opportunity Act.
  • Experience within the social, housing or community sectors will be highly regarded
