As the Land Settlement & Accounts Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless settlements for land sales. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will thrive in a supportive team environment with an excellent culture.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track the progress of all land sales contracts
- Manage deposits received and deposits to be received
- Ensure liabilities related to land purchases have been properly recorded and paid
- Oversee the settlement process for major land development sales
- Engage with buyers and other vested parties to provide a seamless and stress-free settlement experience
- Coordinate and manage settlement timelines, ensuring all documentation is accurate and deadlines are met
- Prepare detailed reports to track sales and settlement performance
- Coordinate with vested parties to ensure proper settlement amounts have been calculated and communicated
- Collection of settlement amounts
What We’re Looking For
- 2-3 years prior experience in an Accounting Firm or in a similar role
- Knowledge and prior experience with Land/Property Settlements and Accounts Receivable and Payable
- Construction or Property Development industry experience is highly desirable
- CA/CPA or working towards certification is highly desirable
- Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with buyers and key stakeholders
- Attention to detail and a proactive mindset to manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Driven and adaptable team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performing environment
