Bright Food Asia Pacific is a private company that produces, imports, markets and distributes well known food brands. The company employs in excess of 1,300 people, operates in Australia, New Zealand and China with our head office located in Sydney.
Reporting to the Group GM People & Culture, this role will be based in Mildura coordinating all aspects of seasonal recruitment for our three extremely well-known local businesses Mildura Fruit Company, Mildura Fruit Juices Aust and Sunbeam Foods.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Talent Acquisition: Manage the end to end recruitment, including sourcing through multiple strategies and channels. Screening of candidates and conducting of interviews. Manage the pre-employment checks e.g. medicals, references and VEVO (work rights)
- Inductions & Onboarding: Coordinate onboarding and inductions ensuring smooth integration.
- Offboarding: Support with offboarding ensuring timely completion of documentation. Participate in end of season debriefs with the aim to improve processes.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment legislation, Enterprise Agreements, workplace health and safety regulations and company policies. Provide support and recommendations on recruitment challenges such as high turnover rates and seasonal staffing fluctuations.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with hiring managers and the wider People & Culture team providing proactive support.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a high-volume recruitment environment
- Knowledge of awards, enterprise agreements, immigration regulations, and health & safety requirements in the agricultural or manufacturing sector
- Strong understanding of seasonal workforce recruitment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple recruitment cycles simultaneously.
- Proficiency in HRIS platform and Microsoft Suite – Outlook, Excel etc
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
- High level of organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels – internally and externally.
- Decisive, with the ability to make sound decisions, based on experience and good judgement.
- A pragmatic person, capable of interacting successfully at all levels of the organisation.
