About the position
This is a newly created position, reporting to the HR Manager with training support from the Health & Safety Manager located at our Sydney Head office. The position will cover our two Melbourne sites located on Gilbertson Road and Burr Court.
The focus for this position is to:
- Ensure WHS & regulatory compliance
- Conduct risk assessments
- Identify potential hazards in the workplace
- Assisting with investigation of incidents
- Conducting health and safety training sessions
- Return to work coordinating
- First Aid Kit audits
- Attend Safety meetings
- Coordinate emergency procedures and first aid crew
About you
- Must have recently completed Cert 3/ Diploma in WH&S
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Practical work place experience (I.e customer service, retail etc.)
- Desirable: Internship/placement in WHS position
