Based in Shepparton since 2006, and privately owned, this sign making business has an outstanding opportunity for a motivated Apprentice in Engineering Fabrication.
Our client, a highly respected Shepparton based sign making organization, specialising in sign design production and instillation, is now offering an opportunity for a hard-working, self-motivated, and most importantly, passionate individual who is either a 2nd , 3rd or a 4th year Apprentice in Engineering Fabrication.
The successful candidate will be trained up in all aspects of Engineering Fabrication:
- Carrying out TIG and MIG welding
- Production of new signage frames stands and supports
- Maintenance and repair of existing sign work
- Basic machine and lathe work
- Following standard procedures
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become trade qualified. As an apprentice, you will receive both on and off the job training working towards Certificate III Engineering Fabrication, which will see you employed directly by Kestrel up to the completion of your apprenticeship.
Please note that relevant Apprentice/Trainee award rates will apply.
Requirements
- Current Driver’s Licence
- 2nd 3rd or 4th year apprentice
- 100% commitment to complete this apprenticeship
- Motivated, reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude
- Work well in a team environment
- High attention to detail
- Pride in work
