They are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and nurturing strategic relationships with prospective clients and stakeholders within Strathfield region. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with the Head of Sales, Business Development Executives, and Partnership Success Managers to identify and develop new relationships within your designated region.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, lasting relationships with both prospective and existing clients.
- Face-to-Face Meetings: Schedule and conduct client meetings within your assigned geographic area to build rapport and grow business.
- Education and Outreach: Educate referrers on company initiatives, procedures, and unique selling points.
- Activity Logging: Maintain detailed records of visits, activities, and relevant commentary to ensure accurate reporting and business review.
- Client Management: Oversee new client on-boarding and ensure a smooth handover to Partnership Success Managers for ongoing account management.
- Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to proactively identify new business opportunities.
- Sales Experience: At least 2 years of experience in face-to-face/field-based Sales, Account Management, or Business Development preferred (attitude and willingness to learn are just as important!).
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and the ability to travel locally are essential.
- Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to foster long-term relationships and provide exceptional service to clients.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record in partnership building.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Positive Attitude: A "can-do" attitude and a team-player mindset to support excellent customer service delivery.
