  • 3 x 38hr/week Temporary Full-time positions - Monday to Friday;
  • 1 x 38hr/week Permanent Full-time position - Monday to Friday;
  • 1 x 9.75hr/week Permanent Part-time position - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.

About Baringa State Secondary College

Our school opened in 2021, on approximately 22 acres consisting of 2 and 3 storey buildings with louvre window systems and a variety of flooring and joinery finishes throughout. We team clean to a high standard to keep our school hygienic and looking new for everyone. Each week, our team work a late shift to accrue our ADO (Accrued Day Off) together and tackle specified cleaning tasks as a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

About The Role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
  • Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
  • Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
  • Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces.
  • Disposal of rubbish and litter control including removal of material from drains and gutters between and/or surrounding buildings.


What We Offer

  • The opportunity to accrue ADO, enabling you to take 1 week of leave during the second week of the Easter, June/July, and September school holidays.
  • Enjoy 5 weeks of annual leave over the Christmas school vacation period.
  • Team works a split shift during the school term: you will need to be available from 5:00 am - 9:00 am and 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm, with the requirement to work until 6:30 pm on Tuesdays. This schedule gives you valuable time during the day.
