    About the Role

    We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Lecturer in Physiotherapy to join our School of Health Sciences. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our physiotherapy course, engage in cutting-edge research, and inspire the next generation of physiotherapists.

    As a Lecturer in Physiotherapy, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our physiotherapy course through blended models of unit delivery. You will be involved in the administration and ongoing curriculum development, as well as advancing research and scholarship aligned with the strategic direction of the school. Your contributions will also include building physiotherapy placement capacity and collaborating with the Discipline Lead, Course Director, and the academic and professional placement team.

    About You

    To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated clinical experience in physiotherapy.
Interest in and application of technologies to improve health practice. Demonstrated experience in tertiary teaching including a record of co- ordination, teaching and curriculum development and teaching physiotherapy to diverse audiences. Demonstrated high standard of interpersonal and communication skills including resourcefulness, initiative, and the ability to meet tight deadlines, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

A Doctorate qualification or equivalent professional experience appropriate to the Discipline. AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
