DescriptionTHE OPPORTUNITY
Mulpha Events own and deliver some of Australia’s most loved events. From Australia’s largest boating showcases – the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and the Sydney International Boat Show - to food and wine festivals, live music, outdoor and lifestyle events, product launches and corporate conferences.
In the role of Sales Coordinator you will be integral to ensuring the success of some of Mulpha Events iconic events in both supporting and attending events and dealing with exhibitors, sponsors and partners as well as following up on sales leads.
Key responsibilities will include
- Assist with all administration related to the events business including accounts, database management, and events accreditation.
- Creating relationships with exhibitors to understand their requirements
- Sell and upsell to exhibitors on their space and additional requriements
- Take the lead with EventsAir, creating new events, setup and reporting
- Liaising with Exhibitors on requirements including listings, additional requirements and accreditation.
- Support in the planning and execution of sales, for each event.
- Support in raising purchase orders and processing invoices ready for payment.
- Attending event meetings to assist the planning of events.
- Assist when required for potential attendees of events and supplying information about the event.
- Assist with Bump In and Out of events, liaising with exhibitors, stand builders, contractors and the team on requirements needed.
- Liaising with contributors of events as necessary, including but not limited to suppliers, contractors, consultants, exhibitors and sponsors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including exhibitor sales, corporate sales, and account management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Engage with current exhibitors, conduct meetings, and send proposals to secure sales for each event.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Proven experience in a sales support or administration role (preferably in events, hospitality, or sales industries)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills with a customer-first approach
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- A proactive mindset and positive attitude
- Current Drivers Licence
