Description:
The Administration Assistant (Main Administration) is required to provide a high-standard of administrative and front-office support at the College’s Main Reception area and across various other areas of the College.
With face-to-face, email and telephone interaction with students, parents and staff, this position will be tasked with handling general enquiries and being the face of the College, in the public-facing reception area.
Providing a high quality of customer service, the role also works with other administration team members and the Principal's Executive Assistant to ensure the Principal’s office is managed efficiently and effectively. Attendance at College events outside of hours may be required, from time to time.

About the role
Working in a timely, accurate and consistent manner, the Administration Assistant will be:
- Providing customer service in the Main Administration area.
- Attending to incoming and outgoing correspondence and coordinating appointments, for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Attending to face-to-face, email and telephone interaction with students, parents, staff and external stakeholders.
- Sorting and distributing all incoming mail, newspapers, parcels and prepare external mail as per Australia Post requirements.
- In collaboration with the Marketing Team, and as required, keeping a record of student and staff achievements from newspaper articles.
- Supporting the booking/usage process of the College vehicles in collaboration with the WHS and Compliance Officer and the Facilities Team.
- Managing lost property and coordinating the distribution/return of belongings across the campus.
- As required, and in ad-hoc situations, providing assistance for staff and students to ensure the professionality of the College is always upheld and that business continuity across the College can be maintained.
- Monitoring the assigned email inboxes and any associated Drop Boxes.

- Comply with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011, codes of practice and other safety guidance material.
