About Us:
McLean Farms is a diversified, family-owned agri-business renowned for our excellence in livestock and food production. Our operations span a wide range of agricultural enterprises, including grain, compost, and feed mill operations. Daily duties include, but not be limited to:
- Conducting feed, water and light checks, including general maintenance to equipment where necessary.
- Conducting environmental checks to ensure birds are comfortable.
- Conducting inspections on bird welfare.
- Training of chicks in the use of the aviary system.
- General cleaning and servicing of sheds and equipment as required.
- Other duties as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Live locally for call out purposes or prepared to relocate to the area would be highly regarded.
- Weekend and call out work will be required.
- Willingness to strictly adhere to the required animal welfare guidelines and regulations.
- Previous experience in the poultry industry is not essential, but would be highly regarded.
- Current valid drivers’ licence.
- Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to carry out a range of different tasks.
