About the Role
Due to unprecedented demand, PremiAir has a full-time, permanent position available with an immediate start for committed, reliable, and flexible Service Technician/Mechanic with experience in the equipment rental industry, to join our busy State-of-the-Art facility located in Brisbane (Darra).
Reporting directly to the State Manager, the main responsibility of the role is to service and maintain a wide variety of hire equipment.
Duties
- Repair and maintenance of hire equipment to PremiAir and OEM standards.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing on equipment both in the workshop and on customer sites.
- The repair, service and fault-finding on our vehicle hire fleet including late model Utes
- Administrative tasks relevant to the position
- Other appropriate duties as required/directed
Skills and Experience
You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an "I will make it happen" attitude to get the job done. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Trade Qualifications – Diesel Mechanic or similar is essential with strong fault finding and problem solving skills
- Can work unsupervised and listen and follow instructions
- Has a strong team mind-set and a willingness to learn new products
- Can work overtime, including weekends when required and work an on-call roster
- Is reliable, punctual with excellent work ethics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Previous experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicant will be appointed primarily based on attitude and the desire to assist the business in the next phase of growth.
