About Spiire We are an integrated team of passionate civil engineers, landscape architects, surveyors, town planners, urban designers, water engineers, and visual media artists providing consultancy services to the property and infrastructure sectors. Our team of more than 350 people work across ten offices in QLD, VIC, NSW, SA and the ACT.We are now seeking applications from Project Engineers and Construction Administration professionals to join the team based in our Brisbane office, working on infrastructure and land development projects within the Greater Brisbane and South East Queensland Regions.The Opportunity An integral part of the construction team, this role will see you assisting the Project Manager, taking on responsibility for contractor compliance, with a strong focus on ensuring quality, safety and health. The scope of this role will increase as your confidence builds, so additional tasks and duties will become available to you but initially, some key responsibilities include:Reviewing design documentation and providing feedback on constructability issuesAssisting with obtaining Council and Water Authority Approvals.Preparation and Review Opinion of CostsPreparing Tender & Contract SchedulesManaging the Tendering ProcessConstruction Phase support such as:~ Chairing construction site meetings~ Managing on-site compliance audits~ Assessing variations, completing reports, cost estimations~ Coordinating with a diverse range of stakeholders involved in the project includingauthorities, developers, clients and contractors.
