Oji Fibre Solutions QLD Pty Ltd, part of the rapidly expanding global Oji Group, specialises in the manufacturer of innovative packaging solutions. Our greenfield plant based in Yatala QLD, produces corrugated boxes which play an important part in the presentation, protection, and transportation of customer products in the Horticulture, Meat, Industrial, FMCG and Paper Products segments.
We are currently seeking a highly detail orientated, hands on Accountant to join the site finance team. This is a key financial based position reporting directly to the State Commercial Manager QLD whilst collaboratively working alongside multiple department heads to gather relevant data which will assist the business to achieve its required goals
You will be responsible for however not limited to – all finance-related transactions including month end accounting, journals, gathering data to manage fixed asset process including raising capex requests, balance sheet reconciliations and assist with month end reporting to the head office, whilst supporting the State Commercial Manager as required.

To be successful in this role, you must have:
Degree qualification in commerce, accounting, business and/or studying towards CPA/CAMinimum 2 years financial/accounting experience Prior experience/exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environmentIntermediate to Advanced MS Office skills – including ExcelSolid systems knowledge – SAP/BPC/Hyperion advantageous
Strong communication skills, pride in your attention to detail and drive to complete accurate reports on time is paramount to you being a success in this role.
