What you'll do
As a Repositories Coordinator, you will lead the Repositories team ensuring that our research and education repositories are readily available for our UniSQ community. You will also:
- Provide leadership around metadata description, and use of persistent identifiers, ensuring maintenance of accurate and current repository holdings, which are uniquely and permanently identifiable.
- Oversee metadata input and auditing activities, ensuring compliance with the Library’s metadata framework and data quality standards.
- Liaise with the UniSQ Office of Research and Academic Affairs to ensure repositories comply with internal and national research requirements.
- Ensure repositories adhere to best practices in data management, aligning with FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) and CARE (Collective Benefit, Authority to Control, Responsibility, and Ethics) principles.
- Manage copyright and intellectual property protocols, resolving issues and ensuring compliance with laws and policies.
- Work with the Senior Manager (Collections and Repositories), to analyse, report and advise on repository performance, emerging trends and requirements.
What will help you succeed
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A degree with at least four years of relevant experience in research support, and/or learning and teaching support with an emphasis on metadata standards, library systems administration and reporting.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, including mentoring and fostering a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Extensive knowledge of academic library environments, including emerging issues in research data, open research, scholarly communication, and information management practices.
- High-level digital and information literacy skills, with expertise in research information systems, repositories, or research data management systems.
- Strong understanding of copyright, intellectual property, and best practices for managing scholarly content.

Salary : Total remuneration range of $115,122 to $127,298 pa (includes salary range of $97,272 to $107,560 pa, employer superannuation contributions of 17%, and annual leave loading)
