The day to day
The LSKD Store Designer role is responsible for delivering innovative and cost-effective store designs that enhance community experience while maintaining brand consistency. The Store Designer will be involved in the end-to-end design process, from initial scoping through to final execution, ensuring designs align with business objectives, budget, and quality standards. You will come up with innovative world-class concepts that will push boundaries and challenge the status quo!
Store Design & Development:

Create sophisticated, innovative, functional, and cost-effective store designs that reflect the LSKD brand identity and enhance community experience.

Lead the end-to-end store design process, including concept development, space planning, fixture design, and material selection.

Produce high-quality design documentation, including CAD drawings, 3D renderings, and mood boards.

Ensure all designs comply with building codes, accessibility standards, and company guidelines while maintaining our brand aesthetic.
Project Management & Collaboration:

Conduct site visits and provide guidance during store fit-outs to ensure brand design intent is met.

Work closely with the Store Development and Property team, ensuring design feasibility, budget alignment, and timely execution.

Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and external consultants, including Operations, Visual Merchandising, and Brand teams, to bring store designs to life.

Manage relationships with external consultants, architects, and suppliers to optimise design outcomes.
Cost & Quality Considerations:

Balance creativity and aesthetics with cost efficiency and quality standards, ensuring stores are designed to budget without compromising brand integrity.

Source and recommend appropriate materials and fixtures while maintaining high-quality, premium finishes.

Continuously explore innovative design solutions, including integrating technology such as digital displays, smart fitting rooms, and high-end lighting to improve community in store experience, store aesthetics and operational efficiency.

Create a framework for different store types and gradings of stores.

To give you the edge:
- A degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Retail Management, or a related field is ideal
