Description:
As the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for multiple investment vehicles.
- Preparing financial statements and liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance is met across APRA reporting and their AFSL license.
- Managing fund accounting, including capital calls, distributions, and performance reporting.
- Monitoring investment performance and working closely with portfolio companies to ensure financial governance.
- Implementing and improving internal financial controls and risk management frameworks.
- Providing strategic financial insights to senior leadership and investors.
- Managing cash flow and liquidity across investment structures.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly skilled finance professional with deep expertise in private equity, investment management and or funds management. Key requirements include:
- CA/CPA qualified with a strong technical accounting background.
- Experience in financial control, fund accounting, or investment management within a private equity, asset management, or financial services firm.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Will consider those from chartered working with Financial Services Clients
