The Role
Based at our Eastwood office, the HR Coordinator will assist the Human Resources Manager to provide a wide range of HR services to the organisation. The role is ideally suited to an experienced HR Coordinator, or someone keen to progress their HR career.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Managing onboarding and offboarding processes including producing employment contracts, new starter paperwork, facilitating inductions and conducting exit interviews
- Managing the administration of employment cessations, role changes, transfers, and changes to conditions of employment
- Answering HR related enquiries and ensuring they are dealt with in a positive friendly and professional manner
- Manage end-to-end recruitment including writing job ads, screening, interviewing, pre-employment checks and offering roles
- Assist in coordinating employee training and development programs and the annual health and wellbeing program
- Coordination of the annual performance development review process and staff engagement survey
- Assist with employee relations issues and investigations
- Manage and maintain the Human Resources administration functions and systems
- Support the HR department with various projects and initiatives as needed
About you

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service focus and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst managing multiple priorities
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy and discretion
- A qualification in a HR related discipline
- Relevant experience in a HR generalist role
- Understanding of HR and Australian Employment legislation
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of programs
- Proactive problem-solving skills
