About the role
An exciting opportunity for a qualified Radiographer to join the SA Medical Imaging Team at the Repat Health Precinct.
SAMI RHP is a supportive and dynamic department that is growing with the site. You will be imaging inpatients and outpatients with a broad case mix.
Participating as a member of the SAMI RHP team you will deliver high level imaging with autonomy and professionalism. Working alongside other clinical, medical and administrative staff to give the best level of care for our patients.
The Radiographer will be responsible for the provision of more complex Radiography within various modalities, using specialised equipment to perform diagnostic medical imaging examinations for clients across a range of clinical specialities, with minimal professional direction.
The successful candidate will provide professional direction to other radiographers, PDY radiographers, undergraduate students on clinical placement and work experience students.
About You
We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Radiographer who is passionate about delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. To excel in this role, you will bring:
- Strong technical and clinical expertise – ability to perform a wide range of imaging procedures, assess patient needs, and select appropriate clinical and technical examination methods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork – ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team, positively engage with staff at all levels, and effectively mentor and oversee students.
- Commitment to safety and quality – knowledge of radiology best practices, including ionising radiation safety, quality improvement programs, medico-legal responsibilities, and regulatory compliance.
- Flexibility and problem-solving skills – ability to adapt to departmental changes, contribute to innovation, and maintain positive working relationships both within and outside the department.
