Outback Spirit Tours offers a range of unique adventure tours and luxury short stays across our beautiful country. Our adventures capture the very essence of Australia, from the rugged red cliffs of the Kimberley to the unspoiled natural wonder of Tasmania, we bring iconic experiences to life. We operate 9 lodges in some of the most remote, inaccessible and beautiful locations. Our team of guides, drivers, camp and operations staff are passionate about the outdoors and take pride in bringing our guests on the adventure of a lifetime.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We're seeking dedicated Housekeeping Supervisors to join our dynamic team across our stunning Camps and Lodges in the top-end of Australia. This is a hands-on position, where you'll lead by example—a key player in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across our properties. Your leadership will ensure that our guests enjoy a warm, welcoming environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the cleaning and presentation of guest accommodations to meet our exacting standards.
- Report maintenance issues and any damage to furnishings and fittings in all guest areas.
- Drive and uphold quality cleaning standards across the property.
- Manage linen and towel processes, ensuring they are washed, dried, and folded promptly in line with guest arrivals.
- Maintain accurate records of linen stock levels and ensure quality standards are met.
- Ensure guest amenities are stocked and par levels are consistently maintained.
- Supervise and coordinate the Housekeeping team, ensuring they are working efficiently within time restrictions.
- Actively assist and support your team by being a hands-on leader who participates in cleaning duties.
This is a remote position, requiring you to live and work at one of our properties for the entirety of the season. We provide all meals and accommodation. Please be mindful of the limitations associated with residing in a remote location for an extended period of time.
ABOUT YOU:
You have a passion for delivering unforgettable experiences, a love for housekeeping, and an enthusiasm for the great outdoors, helping to showcase the beautiful locations Australia has to offer.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor, ideally within the hospitality industry.
- Previous experience working remotely.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills, with a natural ability to put people at ease.
- Problem-solving skills that prioritise exceptional guest experiences.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring every corner meets our high standards.
- Excellent time management skills and the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively.
- The physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
A National Criminal History Check is a mandatory step in the recruitment process.
