Our Sports Marketing team is on a mission to find a driven and creative Sport Marketing Executive to manage, plan and execute ASICS team and athlete sponsorships across Western Bulldogs, Tennis, and individual AFL, Netball and Tennis athletes.
So, what goes in to making that happen?
- Manage AFL, Netball and some Tennis partnerships, executing sponsorship activation, contractual benefits, reporting, and product orders
- Manage and negotiate a large portfolio of individual athletes within your sporting portfolio
- Work closely with the wider Marketing team to ensure synergy and alignment in messaging and branding
- Managing marketing activations during key sporting events, i.e., Australian Open
- Social media and PR for AFL, Netball and Tennis partnerships in conjunction with PR Manager and Social Media Executive
- Collaborate with internal departments across PR, Sales, Product and Customer Service
- Liaise with athlete managers/agents and external marketing teams
- Manage social media activations and initiatives for football partnerships
- Assist at sponsored events when required

That’s enough about us! Here’s what we hope to see from you:
- 6 years’ experience in Sports Marketing, or closely related
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, or related Marketing discipline desirable
- Strong contract negotiation skills
- Continually abreast of the Australian sporting landscape, with a passion for the sporting industry
- Proven success in stakeholder management and building mutually trusted relationships
- Hands on, self-motivated, well organised with the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills, conveying information and ideas to engage target audiences
- Ability to effectively manage time and workload to meet conflicting deadlines in an agile environment
- Strategic operator who can leverage ASICS partnerships to drive the overall brand and business goals
- Proven ability in driving overall brand and business in alignment with brand goals and guidelines
