About the role
The Pharmacist Senior – Community Mental Health provides high level pharmacy services within the Community Mental Health Service. This position functions with a high degree of independence providing clinical intervention and advice, workflow organisation and service developments relating to the community mental health service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- High level knowledge, skills and expertise in mental health, general clinical pharmacy practice and knowledge of hospital pharmacy service delivery.
- High level ability to participate in the development, implementation, review and maintenance of internal systems, processes, and work practices.
- High level ability to provide training, direction, and guidance to health clinicians.
- Ability to proactively contribute to team objectives within the pharmacy as well as the broader multidisciplinary team.
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the
- This position will be required to work extended hours including weekend and on-call as per Pharmacy roster arrangements.
