The Organisation
Australian Food & Fibre (AFF) is a vertically integrated agribusiness that brings together significant experience, knowledge and expertise across our production, processing and marketing businesses for the supply of quality Australian cotton to the world. The Position
As a Finance Manager for AFF, you will play a vital role and assist in optimising production output for the long-term value of the organisation. This role has multiple financial functions including the annual budget process, forecasts, and monthly management reporting for the Production division. You are a central ‘go-to’ person within the business for data and insights.
In this role, you will also assist the COO on business performance including financial analysis and benchmarking to help drive operational efficiency. You are also connected to the heads of finance assisting with Company financial reporting, audit processes, taxation compliance, and cash flow management.
The Person
To be successful you will have:
  • a professional approach with a depth of finance experience ideally in an agricultural environment
  • in depth experience with accounting software, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis
  • the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights
  • an understanding of financial regulations and compliance
  • excellent communication and analytical skills as you will be working with multiple stakeholders across the business.
  • tertiary qualifications in Accounting (CPA/CA preferred)
