Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electroplater to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electroplating processes, including surface preparation, plating application, and quality control for high-strength steel and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain electroplating equipment and tanks.
• Prepare parts for plating, including cleaning, masking, and inspecting surfaces.
• Perform alkaline zinc and other electroplating processes according to specifications.
• Monitor plating baths and adjust chemical concentrations as needed.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure plating meets required standards.
• Maintain accurate records of plating operations and chemical usage.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in electroplating, particularly with zinc and alkaline-based processes.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and plating bath maintenance.
• Familiarity with high-strength steel treatment is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and plating instructions.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $74,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
