Role Highlights- Positively contribute to the iconic State Library of South Australia's culture.
- Help customers engage with and interpret our stories.
- Support customers to uncover SA's history through our unique collections.
Lead and manage service delivery strategy and operations, providing professional guidance to ensure the delivery of best practice modern library and research services onsite and online. Drive system and work practice change to ensure that services align to organisational objectives and changing industry practice.
Special Conditions- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
- This role requires a working with children check.
- This role requires a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History check.
- Driving may form part of this role.
- Interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
- Required to work on service delivery points.
Essential Qualifications
- Degree in Information Management or Archives Administration, or a degree majoring in history, politics, anthropology, law or commerce, or another degree and eligible for professional membership of the Australian Society of Archivists or eligible for professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association.
