- Salary: RN/M2C $87,416 to $110,497 p.a. (pro-rata)
- Multiple Temporary Part-time positions available - FTE negotiable (12 months from commencement date)
Overview
You will provide specific support to the Nurse Educator and Nurse Unit Managers within the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network in the provision of education services and support to Graduate Registered and Enrolled Nurses, and Registered Midwives. Facilitating the management of a portfolio in clinical education, you will provide Graduate Registered and Enrolled Nurses, and Registered Midwives and staff with face-to-face, on ground or virtual education support. This will include implementing agreed plans for communication and supervision which promotes reflective, evidence-based practice improvement and supports experience sharing and problem solving. You will assist with maintaining a learning culture by being a resource person, encouraging reflection and professional development and assisting others to maintain portfolios and records of learning. You will need to be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse or Midwife/Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. This will be supported by demonstrated experience in the leadership and direction of Graduate Registered and Enrolled Nurses, and Registered Midwives and less experienced Nurses. With the ability to develop learning goals and deliver and evaluate education programs, you will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within the clinical education setting. You will work well within a multidisciplinary team and possess effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
