Join Novita as an Occupational Therapist to manage diverse clinical caseloads and contribute to community programs.
Your role
Key responsibilities as follows:
- Manage clinical caseloads, including assessment, planning, and evaluation of treatment programs.
- Select, apply, and evaluate interventions to meet goals in line with organizational standards.
- Encourage client participation in program evaluations to ensure services meet individual needs.
- Contribute to community-based programs and activities for clients.
- Integrate occupational therapy services with other Novita services, engaging in decision-making and planning sessions.
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Availability for occasional Saturday work.
- Excellent written communication skills for preparing reports and documentation.
- Effective communication skills with children, young people, parents, and staff.
- Exemplary customer service skills.
- Integrity and honesty in behavior and dealings.
- Energetic, resourceful, innovative, and flexible in responding to challenges.
- Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Understanding of person-centered thinking, NDIS principles, and National Disability Services Standards.
Compensation & benefits
The remuneration package includes a base salary, annual leave loading, and statutory superannuation contributions. Enjoy salary packaging up to $15,900, increasing take-home pay by approximately $5,000. Additional benefits include meal and entertainment expenses, accommodation and venue hire, private novated leasing, and extra superannuation contributions.
