About the role

You will work with a skilled and dynamic team and perform vehicle repair work following body repair procedures, disassemble and reassemble vehicle body components, and replace or changeover of parts.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Removing damaged panels from vehicles.
• Hammering dents out of panels.
• Straightening out damaged vehicles using hydraulic equipment.
• Replacing crumpled panels with new or as-new panels.
• Filling holes and dents with plastic, shaping and sanding into a smooth surface.
• Refitting locks, trim, bumpers, and welding new and existing parts together.

Skills & experience

• Proven work experience in the same or similar role
• Apprentices welcome to apply
• Sound knowledge of workshop procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Great eye for detail
• Work as part of a team
• Driver Licence an advantage, but not essential
