About the role
Provide ongoing support to the Deadly Start School Based Traineeship Program, to facilitate a meaningful experience that will encourage future pathways into the health sector.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Liaise, consult, and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders including students and their families, schools, senior staff, clinicians, other project teams and agencies to achieve project objectives.
- Support the recruitment of students and provide ongoing culturally responsive support across the traineeship cycle.
- Support the state in ongoing improvement initiatives to continue to improve the effectiveness of this program.
- Maintain program documentation by implementing a robust records management system in accordance with guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Identify, monitor, and attend to urgent enquiries and issues on behalf of the Program Manager and Senior Project Officer, assuming an appropriate level of initiative and self-directedness to resolve issues.
- Provide secretariat services including organising meetings, workshops, agendas, minutes and tracking of actions as required for Infrastructure strategic meetings.
