About the position
The Arborist position will be responsible for performing a broad range of specialist tasks in an arboricultural work team with the efficient delivery of the desired levels of service of park infrastructure within the Toowoomba Region.
This position will work under limited supervision.
- The base wage rate for this position is $1,197.40 gross per 38 hour week, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
- This is a Permanent Full time position based at our Principal Depot in Charlton.

How to be successful in this position - Success Criteria

- Experience in maintaining plant and equipment in good working order and in accordance with the operator’s manual as supplied by the manufacturer.
- Demonstrated ability to perform work with the ability to apply appropriate skills to suit varying demands of the work.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to provide accurate and timely advice in a helpful manner.
- Ability to work cooperatively, safely and ethically in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Understanding of and commitment to Council’s Organisational Value and Behaviour of Accountability.
