About the Role

This role provides an opportunity to support patients as they exit the prison system, helping them reintegrate into the community and access essential primary healthcare services. About You
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced nurse with strong leadership abilities and a passion for delivering high-quality care. You will thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment and be committed to improving patient outcomes through innovative and flexible approaches.
- Strong leadership and communication skills – You have highly developed skills in problem-solving, conflict resolution, negotiation, and change management, with a focus on fostering staff development and consumer engagement.
- Proven clinical expertise – As a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with at least three years of post-registration experience, you demonstrate competence in your field and have experience supervising students and junior staff.
- Ability to manage priorities – You can effectively prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving healthcare environments while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
- Comprehensive industry knowledge – You have a strong understanding of relevant legislation, professional standards, and national healthcare safety and quality guidelines, ensuring best practices in nursing and midwifery.
